Read MoreWelcome to the San Mateo County Pride Center!
We are so glad you're here.
The San Mateo County Pride Center opened our doors on June 1, 2017. With funding from the MHSA Innovation grant, the Center was established as a collaboration model organization and one-stop shop for the LGBTQ+ community. Operating as a program of StarVista, we work in partnership with Peninsula Family Service and Outlet (a program of Adolescent Counseling Services) to offer robust programs and services to support LGBTQ+ community members of all ages. The Pride Center offers education, training, community events, peer support groups, daily programming, clinical therapy, and case management.
We are staffed by diverse LGBTQ+ identified skilled professionals who cross races, ethnicities, abilities, religions, and genders. We strive to reflect the community we serve. The San Mateo County Pride Center was born into existence after years of community advocacy and support. We are grateful for those who fought for us. And we are honored to continue to do this essential work to ensure our LGBTQ+ continues to feel safe, seen, valued, and validated.
We are here, we are queer, and we are proud.
