YMCA Membership

We work with many SRO families and because their entire household live in a single room, they have no means to get healthy exercise or a place to spend their day without being in their small and confined room where they sleep, eat, and stay. Families that consistently participate in APA services are provided with YMCA memberships, enabling them to gain access to the workout gym, yoga classes, swimming pool, and other activities. The YMCA essentially extends their living space and gives them a period of respite.
