In a video segment of "Days Through Tomorrow," clients share their experience of domestic violence and the impact it has on their emotions and lives.

The 7th Annual Healthy Thanksgiving on November 17 in Visitacion Valley is sponsored by Sutter Health CPMC. Kids will receive CPMC Teddy Bears at their booth.

APA's Visitacion Valley Strong Families and River of Life Church are the hosting partners. This Thanksgiving party is open to the public from 11 am - 4 pm at 1430 Sunnydale Ave.

A traditional Thanksgiving meal will be served. Many community resource agencies will be there. Activities include a petting zoo, face painting, rock climbing wall and much more.

Thanksgiving Event For Chinatown Clients will be held at APA's main offices on November 17. 40-50 families will be invited to a  Thanksgiving lunch with children activities and games. APA Families Holiday Party on December 16 is an agency-wide event at the Chinatown YMCA. Some clients from our Visitacion Valley and Excelsior family support centers will be attending also. Volunteer opportunities are available to help with set up, photography, children activities, food serving, and clean up.

To make the holidays a little brighter, each child will receive an age-appropriate toy or gift provided by our non-profit partners, donors, or purchased with funds raised from our Toy Drive Happy Hour.
