Do you want to build a stronger relationship with your kids? 

 

The Parent Project (hosted in English and Spanish) is a 13-week class that gives parents, grandparents, and caregivers the tools to build strong and healthy families. All classes are free!

 

English classes start Wednesday, February 28

Spanish classes start Thursday, February 29

Recap: Cheers for Changing Lives 2024

On Thursday, February 22,  StarVista supporters, staff, visionaries and friends gathered for an intimate, VIP experience at the incredible and innovative Skyway Center in San Carlos to celebrate the success of our annual fundraiser, Changing Lives, as well as to acknowledge everyone’s efforts throughout the year in helping us raise sustainable, unrestricted funds for StarVista.  

 

We are privileged to collaborate with so many remarkable individuals who share our enthusiasm for empowering people, providing hope, and building stronger communities. We look forward to working with you again and making Changing Lives 2024 a success!

Congrats to our HAP-Y Grads!

Congratulations to Isabella and Isaac from Capuchino High School, Pavitra from Hillsdale High, and Annika from Aragon High for successfully completing the Fall 2023 Cohort of StarVista’s Youth Health Ambassador Program (HAP-Y)!

 

Being a part of StarVista’s HAP-Y program is an enriching experience, equipping our youth aged 16-24 with essential knowledge and strategies on mental wellness, suicide prevention, and access to mental health services.

StarVista's Training Program

StarVista’s Practicum recruitment season was a success!

 

Our Training Program team attends events at Bay Area schools to bring awareness to our Training Program, a program that offers professional training and supervised experience across a wide array of mental health and social service programs in San Mateo County. Trainees, associates, and post-doctoral interns are selected from various clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, and social work programs. We’re excited to welcome our next cohort!  

 

The StarVista Training Program accepts rolling admissions, however the majority of our students begin in late August.
