Transitioning from middle school to high school is never easy, but for kids in foster care who have experienced abuse and neglect, adjusting to a new school can be overwhelming.

 

That’s why Child Advocates co-hosted a two-day Summer Bridge Camp to prepare 12 foster youth for their freshman year in high school. Students toured the Santa Clara University campus, created a virtual reality (VR) experience developed a personalized education plan and received a laptop and backpack full of school supplies. 

14th Annual Golf Classic August 26th, 2019

 

There's still time to register for our Golf Classic, which will be held Monday, August 26th, 2019 at Los Altos Golf & Country Club.  Enjoy a round of golf at this gorgeous private club while helping us raise critical funds to help foster children in our community. This year we will be honoring James Otieno with the Skip Shaw Inspiration Award. Dinner tickets are still available.
