Explore Our New Toolkit for Building Everyday Resilience

Life brings challenges for all of us, and having the support and tools to navigate those moments can make a meaningful difference. At Acknowledge Alliance, we believe resilience grows through connection, supportive relationships, and everyday practices.

Our new Resilience Toolkit offers simple, practical strategies for educators, caregivers, young people, and anyone looking to support their well-being. From strengthening connections and recognizing small wins to staying grounded during times of change and knowing when to reach out for support, the toolkit is designed to help build resilience in everyday life.

Congratulations to Sunnyvale School District for Silver Implementation Award in 2026 California PBIS Recognition Program!

Congratulations to Sunnyvale School District for earning a Silver Implementation Award in the 2026 California PBIS Recognition Program! This prestigious honor recognizes SSD’s dedication to Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and creating positive, safe, and supportive learning environments. We’re proud to partner with SSD to ensure that every child can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Congratulations to Redwood Middle School on being named a 2026 California Distinguished School!

This prestigious recognition honors schools across the state that demonstrate exemplary student outcomes, including academic achievement and progress for historically underserved student groups.

We are so proud to celebrate Redwood Middle School after many years of partnering to support student mental health and social-emotional learning. This recognition is a wonderful validation of the supportive environment Principal Steve Hamm has built and the caring, connected campus community we are proud to help foster.

Principal Steve Hamm shared:

“I am so incredibly proud of the heart our students, staff, and families bring to Redwood Middle School every single day. Being named a California Distinguished School is a huge honor, but it really just confirms what I already knew: our entire community is truly the real deal. This achievement is a beautiful reflection of our shared commitment to excellence and the unique spirit that makes us Redwood.”

We’re honored to be part of the Redwood community and celebrate this well-deserved recognition. Congratulations, Redwood!

Acknowledge Alliance had the privilege of tabling at the first Palo Alto Community Impact Fair on Sunday, October 11. Hosted by the Palo Alto Human Relations Commission (HRC), many local nonprofits were able to share information directly to the community. Thank you to Palo Alto HRC for allowing us and our fellow agencies to highlight our work and create a collaborative network.

Highlights & Tips Inspired by Our Founder, Cleo Eulau

October is Filipino American History Month! This month, we celebrate the rich history, vibrant culture, and lasting contributions of Filipino Americans, the second-largest Asian American ethnic group in the United States.

On October 18, 1587, the first recorded landing of Filipinos in what is now the continental United States took place in Morro Bay, California, when Filipino sailors arrived aboard a Spanish galleon. Their stories and contributions continue to shape our nation’s history and culture.

Join us in honoring the history, celebrating the achievements, and uplifting the voices of the Filipino American community. Explore these resources to learn more:
