Let's Celebrate Together! 🎂🎊

This month, we’re not just marking another year on the calendar. Join the fun as we celebrate nine years of connection, resilience, and women Veterans showing up for each other in ways only this community can. On March 14th, women Veterans from across the country will gather virtually to reconnect, laugh, share stories, and take part in a few fun surprises along the way.

Expect interactive and engaging conversations, a light-hearted group game with prizes, as well as a look at everything WoVeN has growing ahead! From new programs and alumni opportunities to ways you can stay involved throughout 2026, we have so much to share! Whether you joined last month or years ago, this is a chance to come as you are, meet other women Veterans, and celebrate what we’ve built together.

Welcoming Our New Peer Leaders

This past weekend, 12 women Veterans completed Peer Leader training and we'd like to take a moment to recognize them.

During training, they worked through the WoVeN Peer Leader Manual, strengthened their facilitation skills, and prepared to guide future groups. More importantly, they chose to step into service for other women Veterans. Many shared that they were motivated by the limited resources in their local communities, while others expressed a desire to help expand WoVeN’s reach nationwide so more women Veterans can find connection and support.

Our Peer Leaders truly are the heart of WoVeN. These women create the spaces where conversations happen, stories are shared, and Veterans realize they’re not alone.

To our newest teammates - THANK YOU!

We’re grateful for your willingness to show up for others and we can’t wait to see what you do in the months ahead.

Sweet Toolkit. No Hand Receipts. 😏

Last month we launched WoVeN's Got Your 6 in 2026, and women Veterans across the network have already started reaching out, reconnecting, and welcoming new sisters into the fold.

This initiative is designed with connection in mind: check in on a woman Veteran you don’t know yet, start a conversation, and remind her she has a place here. No scripts. No awkwardness. No pressure. Just the kind of genuine connections that serve as the base to our entire organization.

To make it easy to jump in, participants receive a connection toolkit (pictured above) with ideas, resources, and a few WoVeN goodies to help you get started!

If you’ve been meaning to participate, this is your gentle reminder to register. Click the link below, submit your details, grab your toolkit, and reach out to a fellow woman Veteran. As many of us can attest, sometimes the smallest outreach makes the biggest difference.

We’ve got her 6, and we've got yours, too.

Yes, Ma'am - We're STILL SERVING!

Before this month’s Still Serving spotlight, we want to recognize WoVeN members who recently put service into action. On January 17, Brenda Massey, Janice Maupin, Nenya Rhynes, and Michelle Washington volunteered at the MLK Youth Summit, collecting canned goods to support underprivileged members of their local community. Their efforts are a reminder that service does not end with the uniform, it simply changes form.

March’s Still Serving spotlight: Meals on Wheels

Volunteering with Meals on Wheels is a service that happens one doorstep at a time. You’re not just delivering a meal, you’re delivering connection, reassurance, and dignity. Each knock on the door is a reminder that someone cares, that someone showed up.

For many seniors and homebound neighbors, that brief visit may be the only face-to-face interaction they have all day. That moment matters.

This is what Still Serving could look like beyond the uniform, stepping into responsibility or building trust within the community. All through small, consistent acts of service. One route. One visit. One neighbor at a time.

Still Serving - because the mission doesn’t end.
